Everest Base Camp + Lobuche Peak

The Perfect Blend of Everest Trekking and Peak Climbing

The Everest Base Camp (EBC) + Lobuche Peak is a combined trekking and climbing adventure in the Khumbu region of Nepal, designed for trekkers who want both:

  • The classic Everest Base Camp experience (5,364m)
  • A real Himalayan summit climb (Lobuche Peak – 6,119m)

This program is widely used as an acclimatization preparation route for Everest expeditions, because it exposes climbers to:

  • High altitude trekking above 5,000m
  • Glacier travel on Khumbu Icefall region
  • Basic alpine climbing (snow + fixed ropes)

Lobuche Peak has two summits:

  • Lobuche East (6,119m) – trekking peak (main objective)
  • Lobuche West (6,145m) – more technical, rarely climbed

The route passes through Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar, offering some of the best mountain views on Earth including Everest (8,848.86m), Nuptse, Pumori, and Lhotse.
